Rev. Ambrose Allan Nyangao has been the unwavering pillar of Parklands Baptist Church since 1992, having first served as Associate Pastor from 1983. His divine calling emerged while training as a teacher at Kenya Science Teachers’ College, where he was destined to become a profound teacher of God’s Word. His influence has ignited the spiritual growth of countless individuals worldwide. Renowned for his servant leadership, sharp wit, wisdom, and humor, his delivery of the Gospel is unmatched.

Rev. Ambrose’s leadership extends beyond his church. He serves as a board member at the International Leadership University, Chair of Trustees at the Bible Society of Kenya, Chair of the Love Inc. board, and is an influential board member of both the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya and Trans World Radio. His stewardship has seen PBC flourish in both membership and leadership, a testament to God’s faithfulness.

A scholar and lifelong learner, Rev. Ambrose holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Biblical Languages from Ouachita Baptist University, Arkansas and a Master’s in Leadership Studies from International Leadership University. He frequently inspires others with his motto, “Leaders read and readers lead,” a principle he lives by. An accomplished author, he has written numerous books, including Taking the City, Zero to Hero, and Marriage with a Purpose. Additionally, he is a motivational speaker, mentor, seasoned singer, songwriter, and former basketball player.

Rev. Ambrose is married to Martha Khasandi, and they are blessed with three children: Caleb, Lisa, and Sifa.
